Web-jockeys
The performance WJs will be held tonight at Centre Pompidou (Paris). WJ-s is a software and a flexible, high speed connexion public device for web performances which allows actors of the Internet (sound and image artists, netartists, bloggers, graphic designers, flashers, programmers, curators, hacktivists, newmedia theorists) to play live with the full scope of contents available in the wideness of the Web. WJs is a project by Agnès de Cayeux, Anne Laforet and KRN.

Si svolge stasera al Centre Pompidou di Parigi la performance WJs. Protagonista della serata è il software (e il sistema) omonimo, uno strumento pensato per remixare i conteuti del web. Suoni, immagini e testi prelevati direttamente dalla rete daranno vita ad un’opera flessibile, mutevole e viva, che si nutre delle energie immesse dai navigatori tra le maglie del network. Dopo i dj e i vj, è la volta dei wj (web-jockey’s). WJs è un progetto di Agnès de Cayeux, Anne Laforet e KRN.
